Hill School 7, Hun School 2 >> Kenedy Cliggett netted four goals as Hill (13-1) improved to 2-0 in the Mid-Atlantic Prep League on Saturday afternoon.
Riley Bauer, Sarah Rogalski and Alex Conway added scores. Josephine Palde and Conway both had two assists. Maddy Orsi and Logan Clouser also tallied assists.
Phoenixville 6, Oxford 1 >> Aubrie Breisblatt had a hand in five of the Phantoms’ six scores Saturday in a non-league win.
Breisblatt tallied two goals and three assists. Katie Baker scored twice and added two assists. Nicole Thompson and Cassidy Stevens (two assists) had Phoenixville’s other goals.
Phoenixville plays Pope John Paul II on Monday, needing a win to qualify for the Pioneer Athletic Conference Final Four.
Boys soccer
Perkiomen Valley 3, Daniel Boone 1 >> Brayden Basile, Alfredo Grimaldi and Steven Warren tallied the Vikings’ scores in their non-league win Saturday.
Matt Holmes had two assists for PV, and Grimaldi had the other. Danny Krystopa scored for the Blazers.
PV’s Luke Speers and Alessandro Vennettilli made two saves a apiece, while Krystopa and Zachary Fick combined for seven Boone saves.
Perkiomen School 1, Phil-Mont Christian 0 >> Taka scored his first varsity goal in the Panthers’ overtime win on Saturday.
Hill School 4, Hun School 1 >> Baba Kallie had three goals and an assist Friday as the Blues improved to 2-0-0 in Mid-Atlantic Prep League play with a victory at Hun.
Kallie got his first in the 11th minute, the only goal of the first half despite 12 Hill shots. He then got his second in the 48th minute before the hosts got on the board with a disputed goal in 69th minute to close The Hill’s lead to 2-1.
Kallie then closed out his hat trick in the 77th minute on a breakout pass from Jake Barrett before setting up Sam Beckett in the final minute. Alan Kim needed to make just three saves for The Hill.
