Field hockey

Daniel Boone 2, Hamburg 1 >> Clara Lacek figured in on both the Blazers’ goals Tuesday during their Berks League game with the Hawks.

Lacek scored one goal and assisted on another by Haley Engle, both in the first half. Ashley Finkbiner had two goalie saves for a Boone unit that outshot Hamburg by a 16-3 margin.

Boys Soccer

Perkiomen School 6, Phelps 0 >> Owen Taylor scored twice for the Panthers in Tuesday’s road win. Brock Reber, William Jiang, Harrison Gavin and Jayden Kemp also netted goals for Perkiomen.

Girls soccer

Daniel Boone 3, Hamburg 0 >> Nicole Brown, Lily Ferguson and Nyla Cody each scored goals Tuesday to lead the Blazers past the Hawks in the Berks League

Jenna Heasley had an eight-save day in goal to get the clean sheet for Boone (2-3-1, 6-5-1).

Perkiomen School 3, Barrack Hebrew 0 >> The Panthers came on strong in the second half of their Tri-County League win over Barrack Hebrew Tuesday, scoring all their goals in the stretch.

Perkiomen midfield Rianne Moll scored off of a pass from Naomi Knight. Then Cece Vassallo scored off of a pass from her sister Sasha Vassallo, and the game ended with Cheyenne McCloud’s tally. Abbey Glavin had 5 saves in the net for the Panthers to record the clean sheet.

Girls Volleyball

Exeter 3, Daniel Boone 1 >> The Eagles prevailed over the Blazers in Tuesday’s Berks League match. Set scores were 25-13, 25-21, 17-25 and 25-14.

Statistical stars for Boone: were Arden McCoy (six kills, 13 digs, four aces), Val Klick (seven kills, six blocks, three digs, one ace) and J.J. Valentin (20 assists, 11 digs).
