Jason Charles scored on a header late in the first half, the game-winning goal in a 2-1 Penn Wood victory over Academy Park Tuesday.
Richerdt Diamichi also scored, and Rico Conteh and Tyrique Ryan added assists. Daniel Kamara made five saves for Penn Wood (1-3, 1-0 Del Val).
Varney Outland scored for AP, and Zach O’Brien made 12 saves.

Penncrest 2, Ridley 1 >> Dan MacLoughlin and Ethan Emory scored, the latter via a penalty kick, to lead the Lions to a comeback victory. Brett Bonebrake set up MacLoughlin’s goal, erasing a 1-0 halftime deficit, and Justin Potts made 10 saves for Penncrest (5-0, 2-0).

Christian Academy 8, Calvary Christian 2 >> Grant Sareyka scored four times, and Caleb Chambers paired a goal with six assists as the Crusaders led 6-0 at half and never looked back.
In nonleague action:
Episcopal Academy 0, Shipley 0 >> Trevor Manion made three saves in goal as the Churchmen (1-0-3) were forced to settle for another draw.
Barrack Hebrew 4, Friends’ Central 1 >> Jordan Naim and Ethan Wilner scored twice each, and Billy Cohen added an assist for the Cougars.
In the Catholic League:
Bonner & Prendergast 2, Bishop McDevitt 0 >> Jake Hall and Nick Mercanti scored on either side of halftime late Monday night, and Tommy Denig posted the shutout with six saves for the Friars.
