A three-goal deficit at halftime was no problem for Haverford School and its aptly-named Nik Golz.
Golz scored two goals and assisted on one finished by Nick Pippis as the Fords battled back for a 3-3 nonleague draw with Shipley School.
Solomon Dorsey set up Golz’s opener to get the Fords (0-0-2) on the board after a tough first half. Will Baltrus made one save in goal as Haverford outshot Shipley, 19-11.

Oxford 3, Academy Park 2 >> Lansana Doumbouya and Kho Thang scored for the Knights, who led 1-0 at halftime, but they couldn’t hold on to the win. Ismael Americain made seven stops in goal for AP.
Delco Christian 9, Glen Mills 0 >> Dante Felice scored four times as the Knights romped behind 10 players who recorded a goal or an assist.
Chichester 3, Ridley 2 >> Harun Abudulliah scored twice, and Eric Evangelista also tallied as the Eagles won in double-overtime late Tuesday.
Benjamin Holder and Joy Bayash scored for Ridley.
Girls Soccer
After a tied first half, Bella Sorrentino made sure Bishop McDevitt wouldn’t be hanging around with Archbishop Carroll.
Sorrentino set up three goals, and Rachel Matey scored twice to lead the Patriots to a 5-2 Catholic League win.
Paige Mastripolito, Juliana Keith and Madeline Ferraioli also scored for the Patriots (1-1, 1-0).

Cardinal O’Hara 10, Neumann-Goretti 0 >> Michelle Matteo and Erica Braunlinger scored twice each as the Lions posted five goals in each half in a throttling.

Haverford 5, Interboro 0 >> Amelia Durfee scored twice, and Bridget Cincotta, Olivia Garrison and Lindsay Sheivert also scored for the Fords late Tuesday night.
Notre Dame 1, Friends’ Central 1 >> Emma Kichula one-timed home a pass from defender Anne Dewey, but the goal early in the second half was only good enough for a draw. Caroline O’Keefe and Caroline Kramer combined for seven saves in goal for ND (2-0-1).
